Back from Hannah-land

Yes, I am emerging from the depths of Hannah-land!

Our sweet little Hannah Clare Elizabeth was born on March 16! It's been quite the experience so far- ranging from weeks of sickness to sorting out daily routines in order to get dinner made. By the way, I still can't seem to get dinner on the table before 10pm... don't judge me.

After many many hours of laboring and waiting, she finally arrives!

Our first family photo, hours after Hannah was born. We are all pretty tired!

Motherhood has been such a wonderful thing- I don't know what else to say. I now know for sure that all those telling you that children are burdensome, are liars! Of course Hannah takes our time and has certainly tried our patience with her crying (in the beginning it was about 4 hours straight for no apparent reason). But her little life has added so much to our lives- so much joy, so much peace, and so much love. I must say, also so much pride! In a good way that is! Think of it, she has done nothing except want for food, diaper changes, attention, carrying... and yet, we are so proud to be her parents.

Here is a glimpse of these past 2 months:

I was blessed to have Mom and Dad here for a time! Unfortunately Dad had to go back before Hannah was born, but mom was able to meet her first Granddaughter!

Her favorite sleeping position. Hannah at around 3 days old, and she rolled here on her own! One of her favorite things to do in the morning is stretch and be most expressive while doing so. She will arch her back in this position and grunt and groan!

She's getting to be such a big girl!

She is ready to go!
